Aishwarya Rai says she wants to continue with her acting career and believe is wonderful being married to her best friend, according to reports. She shared the joy of having married with married  co-star Abhishek Bachchan, "There is immense love and respect." She also said she plans to be on the screen for a while, though she wants to have a family some day. She told The Times of India, "In future, obviously there will be children and then I will plan my time accordingly."



Rai's challenging role in domestic film - 2007-04-11

Bollywood star Aishwaryah Rai plays the leads  in a new domestic  film about a violent true-story of a woman who murdered her husband.The challenging movie, which is based on  Kiranjit Ahluwalia autobiography - Circle of Light - , features a woman who set fire to her husband after years of undergoing violence and sexual abuse. She tried to help change the way victims of domestic violence are treated by the law. Although this kind of roles are no the usual for the acclaimed actress, Aishwarya felt very pleased to work on the project. "There's so many Kiranjit's out there who are probably experiencing everything that she has everyday and are just worried to share it with even their own immediate family," she said.Naveen Andrews and a number of other British actors including Robbie Coltrane and Eastenders star Steve McFadden, are also part of the cast.
